Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in Waipahu, Hawaii is seeking a Project Manager to oversee generator and ATS projects under the Sr Project Manager. You will prepare cost proposals, submittals, and schedules, and perform engineering analysis for various markets, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality results.

You will coordinate with suppliers, attend meetings, manage Interns and Junior PMs, and provide technical support on installations and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred or 5 years’ experience in power generation or construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to communicate technical information related to environmental permitting, electrical performance, and mechanical system installation.

Responsibilities

• Manages all generator/ATS projects.
• Maintains and manages all Project Manager related responsibilities ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with Senior PM or Engineering Manager on complex projects.
• Proficient with Hawthorne equipment and installation diagrams.
• Develops deliverables including O&Ms, Test Plans, Test Reports, Installation Packages, and Training Agendas.
• Provides field support including commissioning and troubleshooting on generators and ATS.
