Skywalk Global, on behalf of the Virginia Department of Transportation ITD, is seeking a highly organized PMO Support Specialist to enhance project governance and support PMOs across Commonwealth IT projects.

The role focuses on documentation management, training coordination, risk oversight, and recurring reporting. On-site 2–3 days per week with strong emphasis on SharePoint, MS Office, Excel, Visio, and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• PMP or ACP certification required; PMI or Virginia Commonwealth standards certification accepted.
• 15 years of overall IT experience; 10 years minimum experience.
• Proficient in MS Office tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Excel.
• Training and documentation experience.
• PMP or ACP certification through PMI or Virginia qualification standards.
• Experience with VITA Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system and ECOS processes preferred.
• Experience with Commonwealth IT procurement processes (RFP, VITA).
• Large project management experience (10+ years).
• Experience with project management tools (10+ years).
• Proposal development/business writing experience (10+ years).

Responsabilités

• Update, maintain, and publish PMO documentation that supports IT project managers and ITD staff.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver training (in-person and virtual) for agency IT project managers and staff, including creation of training materials and user documentation.
• Serve as a risk manager for Commonwealth-level IT projects, providing guidance on risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation procedures.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS
