Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Able to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management, and assumptions.
• Mastery of standard applications and project-specific software. Quick learner of new software and capable of instructing others.
• Identifies problems and anticipates potential issues. Able to present alternatives to overcome obstacles.
• May consult with higher-level project management staff and refer to established procedures or prior experience for appropriate actions. Projects may have moderate cross-functional impact.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant experience in business, engineering, or related fields; degree optional.

Preferred Education

Additional formal project management training preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired.
