Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other related processes. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven experience in managing intermediate to large-scale projects with effective results, using prescribed methodologies. Strong knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, and risk management strategies.
• Mastery of standard applications and project-specific software, with the ability to learn new software quickly and instruct others.
• Problem identification and anticipation skills, with the ability to present solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with higher-level project management staff and following established procedures. Projects may have moderate cross-functional impact.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or related fields. Equivalent experience may substitute for degree.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in project management is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt is desired.
