Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management, and assumptions.
• Proficiency in standard applications and project-specific software. Ability to learn new software quickly and instruct others.
• Problem identification and anticipation skills, with the ability to present solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Ability to consult with higher-level project management staff and refer to established procedures or prior experience for appropriate action. Projects may have moderate cross-functional impact.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least one project management course required.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or related fields; degree substitution acceptable.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in project management is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is desirable.
