Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management, and assumptions.
• Mastery of standard applications and project-specific software; quick learner of new software and able to instruct others.
• Identifies problems and anticipates potential issues; presents alternatives to overcome obstacles.
• Collaborates with higher-level project management staff; refers to established procedures or prior experience for decision-making. Projects may have moderate cross-functional impact and team organization.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; at least 1 project management course required.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work in business, engineering, or related fields; degree may be substituted with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in project management is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt is desired.
