Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes relevant to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven understanding and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, using prescribed approaches. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management, and assumptions.
• Proficiency in standard applications and project-specific software, with the ability to learn new software quickly and instruct others.
• Ability to identify and anticipate problems, and present solutions to manage or overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with higher-level project management staff and referencing established procedures or prior experience. Projects may have moderate cross-functional impact.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or related fields; degree may be substituted with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in project management is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certifications are desirable.
