As a Project Manager – 179D Energy Efficiency, you will assist engineers and principals with limited supervision in planning and executing projects related to tax incentive studies for the 179D Energy Efficient Commercial Building Deduction. You will support the team and clients regularly, being a key part of our growing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create plans, set targets, adhere to deadlines, and allocate resources.
  • Review project lists to identify candidates.
  • Manage document requests and conduct initial technical reviews.
  • Coordinate with building owners for documentation.
  • Pursue allocation letters for 179D Projects.
  • Prepare and review project reports for clients.
  • Develop and present project status updates.
  • Build strong client relationships.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Conduct site visits as needed.
  • Communicate technical aspects effectively to non-technical clients.
  • Motivate the team to meet deadlines.
  • Adjust schedules and targets as necessary.
  • Perform site visits nationwide.
  • Communicate with clients, CPAs, staff, partners, and CEO.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate project results delivery and billing.
  • Independent travel up to 20% required.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience with 179D is a plus.
  • Proven project management or construction industry experience.
  • Experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industries is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong client interaction and management skills.
  • Reliable transportation and secure work location.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
Compensation Disclosure

Offers depend on qualifications and experience. Some roles may include incentives.

Salary ranges vary by state, e.g., California: $83,500 - $110,000, Colorado: $73,000 - $96,250, etc.
