Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and related processes within the business. Project management responsibilities include estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven experience and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, utilizing prescribed methodologies. Strong knowledge of project management techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication strategies, schedules, role definitions, and risk management plans.
• Proficiency in standard project management software and applications; quick learner of new tools and capable of instructing others.
• Ability to identify potential problems and propose solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience consulting with senior project management staff and following established procedures. Projects may impact multiple teams and require cross-functional coordination.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years in business, engineering, or related fields; equivalent experience accepted.

Preferred Education

Additional formal project management training is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
