Job Description

Job Summary

Focuses on process improvement, organizational change management, project management, and other processes related to the business. Project management includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven experience and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects using prescribed methodologies. Solid knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication strategies, schedules, role definitions, and risk management plans.
• Mastery of standard project management applications and software; quick learner of new tools and capable of instructing others.
• Problem identification and anticipation, with the ability to suggest effective solutions.
• Ability to consult with senior project management staff and follow established procedures. Projects may have moderate cross-functional impact and team organization.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one project management course.

Required Experience

2-4 years of relevant work in business, engineering, or related fields; degree may be substituted with experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal project management training is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certifications are desirable.
