Ziegler CAT is seeking a Project Manager to join the Project Management Office to support strategic initiatives across the project lifecycle. You will oversee planning, execution, and closing activities, coordinating stakeholders and documenting requirements to keep projects on time and within scope.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience in project management, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 2–4 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Project Management Principles (PMP) including methodologies and tools.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, Prototyping, Waterfall a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with project implementations.
• Strong written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coordinate, and report on projects through Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Closing.
• Define and plan projects to ensure proper scope and estimates.
• Develop documentation including charters, stakeholder analysis, schedules, and requirements.
• Establish project timeline and lead regular project team meetings.
• Interact with team members and sponsors; track actions, issues and decisions.
• Identify and mitigate risks; escalate and remove roadblocks.
• Report on key project metrics and apply standard PM practices.

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Project Manager in our Project Management Office. A PMO Project Manager supports the organization’s strategic initiatives and key projects through the project management lifecycle. Using effective project management skills, this person will be responsible for ensuring successful project planning and execution to meet project objectives, on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, coordinate, and report on projects through the project life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Closing.
• Define, initiate, and plan projects to ensure proper scope and estimate
• Organize and facilitate the development of project documentation including: project charters, stakeholder analysis, change management plans, schedules, business requirements and resource needs
• Establish project timeline
• Lead regularly scheduled project team meetings to maintain accountability and keep the project on track
• Interact on an ongoing basis with project team members and business sponsors
• Document and regularly update project plan to track/assign action items, issues and decisions
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Willing to work with project team, analyzing issues to solve problems
• Escalate and remove project roadblocks
• Facilitate collaborate/solve problems across multi-functional groups
• Set, achieve, and report on key project metrics
• Apply and champion standard project management practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• 2-4 years related experience
• Knowledge of Project Management Principles (PMP) including project management methodologies and tools
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies (SDLC), Agile, Prototyping, Waterfall a plus
• Demonstrated experience with project implementations
• Strong written and communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience, SharePoint, Power Automate and Power BI is a plus
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, MS Project

Travel:

• Up to 10% travel

The pay range for this position is

$82,300.00 to $102,900.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
