The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager for SCADA engineering/construction projects related to Solar, BESS, or Wind. As leader of the project team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the project in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with requirements and standards as set forth in the project contract(s) for medium-to-large size projects. This role involves engineering and design scope management from initiation through close-out. The Project Manager will oversee the successful initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out of complex, multi-discipline projects. The ideal candidate must have exceptional leadership skills and the ability to navigate and resolve complex challenges associated with large projects. This position is open to remote or in-person locations in the US and Canada.

What You'll Do

Project Management

• Provide strategic leadership for large and complex projects
• Lead Solar, BESS, or Wind SCADA projects from initiation to close-out
• Manage all aspects of project execution: scope, stakeholder management, schedule, budget, and quality
• Lead project meetings, including progress reviews and problem-solving sessions
• Develop and implement project plans with risk management strategies
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
• Coordinate resources to support the project
• Analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement recommendations to meet project goals

Collaboration & Communication

• Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns
• Manage project teams to ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence
• Lead overall project coordination, including coaching, conflict resolution, and negotiation
• Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
• Collaborate with project coordinators and controls specialists to track schedules and costs
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and represent Ulteig professionally

Schedule & Cost Planning

• Maintain project timelines and meet milestones
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to stay on schedule
• Control project budgets and monitor financial transactions

Project Reporting & Compliance

• Track project health and key metrics
• Follow Ulteig governance policies for project success

What We Expect from You

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
• 5-7 years of project management experience, including 3-5 years in SCADA engineering environment
• Advanced technical engineering knowledge
• PMP, PE, or equivalent certification preferred
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Planview)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) is a plus
• Ability to travel to project sites in the US and Canada
