You will work in field gas operations with potential for broader responsibilities. The candidate should have a 4-year degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or 8+ years in a comparable role, plus strong communication and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years in a similar role.
• Experience in pipeline, gas, or underground utility construction.
• Experience with Southern California public utility clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review bid instructions and project plan documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs for self-performed and subcontracted scopes.
• Request quotes from subcontractors and suppliers; select vendors.
• Build bids in estimating software and review with operations.
• Prepare bid packages including work plans, schedules, and pricing sheets.
• Manage awarded projects: submittals, RFIs, notices, scheduling, and billing.
• Maintain direct client communication through the life of the project.

THE ROLE

Price the work, then run it. You estimate and bid pipeline and gas distribution projects, then manage the jobs you win from award through closeout. The seat sits in field gas operations, with a clear path to broader responsibility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Review bid instructions and project plan documents

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 4-year degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years in a comparable role
• Project management experience in pipeline, gas or underground utility construction
• Experience with Southern California public utility clients preferred
• Estimating, scheduling and construction accounting software experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication, with real attention to detail
• Degree in business management, project management or construction engineering preferred

COMPENSATION

$95,000+ base depending on experience, plus medical, dental and vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation, holiday and sick time.
