Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a complex BioPharma site startup/commissioning program. The Project Manager will work across multiple functions and stakeholders to drive project execution, maintain integrated schedules, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure workstreams remain aligned with overall program objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project/workstream activities across engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, and other functional teams.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, alignment meetings, and Tier 2 workstream huddles.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Monday.com and/or MS Project, aligned with the Master Integrated Schedule.
  • Track project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, issues, actions, and decisions.
  • Support cost control, including PO tracking, invoices, vendor spend, budget monitoring, and variance management.
  • Manage resource loading and capacity planning across project workstreams.
  • Coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Prepare governance reports, project health checks, dashboards, and executive-level status updates.
  • Identify project bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans to keep activities on schedule.
  • Drive accountability across workstream owners and ensure action items are completed.
  • Support pharmaceutical site startup, commissioning, technology transfer, and/or manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions to leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related technical field.
  • 5-7+ years of project/program management experience, preferably within BioPharma or Pharmaceutical environments.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical site startup, commissioning, technology transfer, or manufacturing programs.
  • Strong experience with project scheduling, resource planning, risk/issue management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience with Monday.com, MS Project, or similar project scheduling/project management platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GMP/cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environments preferred.
