Job Overview

The RWJBH Enterprise Performance Improvement Division supports system-wide activities across clinical and operational service lines. The role involves leading projects aligned with organizational strategies, utilizing LEAN Six Sigma principles to evaluate and implement improvements that enhance enterprise value and ensure financial discipline. The incumbent will use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, serve as a technical expert, and collaborate with service partners to improve clinical and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or financial management
• At least two years of project management experience
• Proven ability in data-driven discovery
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with proficiency in written and oral presentations

Preferred:

• Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma, Green Belt Certification
• Experience in finance and project management methodologies

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with operational teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
• Analyze operational data to inform decision-making
• Develop and validate performance metrics with financial and operational teams
• Oversee initiatives, defining scope, timelines, roles, and responsibilities
• Establish financial tracking to measure savings
• Communicate issues and risks to senior leadership
• Adjust performance targets as needed during project execution
• Apply change management skills and establish sustainability metrics
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship across the enterprise
• Utilize LEAN Six Sigma and project management expertise to recommend improvements
• Identify and coordinate project resources
• Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
