Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to support an oil and gas equipment manufacturer in Arlington, TX.

You will oversee large, highly technical projects from design through testing, shipment and final delivery, serving as the primary customer contact while coordinating with engineering, quality, manufacturing, purchasing, accounting, suppliers, and internal leadership to keep schedules and budgets on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting complex engineering, manufacturing, or equipment projects.
• Experience coordinating engineering, purchasing, production, and delivery across multiple departments.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, milestones, documentation, invoicing, and customer expectations.
• Project management experience within the oil & gas industry.

This individual will oversee large, highly technical equipment projects from design and manufacturing through testing, shipment, and final delivery. The Project Manager will serve as the primary customer contact while coordinating with engineering, quality, manufacturing, purchasing, accounting, suppliers, and internal leadership to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring engineering and production activities, managing project documentation and change orders, tracking milestones and invoices, leading customer status and equipment design reviews, and driving deliverables across multiple departments. This position is onsite in Arlington, TX, five days per week and offers a $130,000–$135,000 annual salary.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting complex engineering, manufacturing, or equipment projects.
• Strong understanding of equipment design and manufacturing processes, with the ability to coordinate engineering, purchasing, production, and delivery.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, milestones, documentation, invoicing, and customer expectations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
• Project management experience within the oil & gas industry.
• Experience supporting subsea, riser, offshore, or other highly engineered oil & gas equipment.
• Previous project management experience within an OEM/manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical Engineering background with experience communicating with highly technical customers.
• Experience working with international customers, suppliers, or engineering/manufacturing partners.
