Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for Nuclear Manufacturing to lead radiopharmaceutical product initiatives from conception to post-launch analysis. You will coordinate internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal) and external sponsors to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires 4–8 years in regulated medical/pharma PM, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel and PM tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific/technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 4–8 years of experience in regulated medical/pharma project management.
  • 2–4 years of proven PM experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple sponsored product projects from conception through launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Primary liaison between internal teams and external sponsors ensuring clear communication, alignment, and expectation management.
  • Collaborates with Product and Sales to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Develops and manages detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Facilitates collaboration across cross-functional teams and ensures accountability for contributions.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize PM processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Tracks progress, reports milestones, and conducts post-mortems to capture lessons learned.

Job description

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple sponsored product projects from conception through launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal) and external sponsors, ensuring clear communication, presentation of project details, alignment, and expectation management.
  • Collaborates with Product and Sales teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics that align with overall sponsored product strategy and revenue goals.
  • Develops and manages detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring all parties are informed, engaged, and accountable for their contributions.
  • Continuously identifies opportunities to optimize project management processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Tracks project progress, reports on key milestones, and conducts post-mortem analyses to capture lessons learned and inform future initiatives.
  • Ensures that all sponsored product deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with brand guidelines and technical specifications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (scientific or technical), or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 4-8 years of experience preferred (regulated medical and/or pharmaceutical field)
  • 2-4 years of proven project management experience, preferred with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management software and/ or Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • PMP (Project Management), CSM, (Certified Scrum Master) or other relevant project management certification preferred
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with external clients or partners in a project management capacity.
  • Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools relevant to advertising performance.

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 -$103,950
