Job summary

Tangent in Illinois seeks a Project Manager to plan, execute, and monitor multiple initiatives across functions. You will liaise with stakeholders, translate complex engineering and manufacturing needs into actionable plans, and drive projects to on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have strong PM fundamentals, problem-solving and communication skills, and 1–3 years in manufacturing or project management. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to NPD and PMO governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with business or PM exposure
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, project management or related fields is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects through planning, execution, and delivery
• Lead NPD projects through early concept development, engineering phases, testing, and product launch
• Assist with analysis and business intelligence activities related to new product introductions
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and resource coordination
• Drive PMO governance, documentation, reporting, and project health updates
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and communication across teams
• Coordinate work across engineering, quality, supply chain, operations, and marketing
• Support regulatory, quality, and manufacturing readiness for new products
• Other duties as assigned
