Job summary

gpac is recruiting a Project Manager for a Wisconsin-based self-performing general contractor with a diverse portfolio spanning municipal, commercial, and specialty projects. The PM will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, focusing on budget, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in commercial/industrial settings, strong knowledge of CM means/methods, and proficiency with PM software and MS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing commercial and municipal projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of project management from award through completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities.
  • Coordinate with field leadership, self-perform crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and change management.
  • Facilitate owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor communications.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Mentor and support project engineers and other team members.
  • Participate in project planning and preconstruction efforts.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery in terms of budget, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
