Job summary

AMS Industries, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to oversee warranty repairs and service needs for a single large client.

You will manage maintenance, repairs, installation and enhancements across central utility plant operations and data processing facilities, coordinating with client teams and internal departments. The role requires 5+ years in HVAC/MEP project management, strong communication, and a track record of building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP
• Experience with large scale central utility plant operations is a significant plus
• Experience with large scale data processing facilities is a significant plus
• Experience with central utility plant and data processing facilities is a significant plus
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)

Responsibilities

• Manage warranty repairs and service needs for a single large client.
• Oversee all aspects of maintenance, repairs, installation and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with client safety and access requirements.
• Provide proposals related to repairs and upgrades as needed.
• Directly manage project scheduling, procurement, and billing processes.
• Act as escalation point for critical incidents impacting the client.
• Prepare and deliver required reports to the client.

Reporting to the Director | Mission Critical Service, the Project Manager will oversee warranty repairs and other service needs for a single large client. The ideal candidate will have experience with large scall central utility plants and/or large scale data processing facilities.

Responsibilities

1. Management duties specific to a single large client needs including but not limited to:
2. Routine daily meetings with client
3. Completing, managing and closing out all client internal paperwork processes
4. Ensuring compliance with client’s safety and access requirements
5. Providing as needed proposals related to repairs, maintenance, installation and enhancements
6. Ensuring client requests are followed up
7. Act as the escalation point for critical incidents, outages related to client impacting events
8. Reviewing field service tickets, third party reports and following up with clients as needed
9. Provide required reports, etc. directly to the client
10. Directly manage all aspects of awarded maintenance, repairs, installation and enhancement projects including but not limited to:
11. Meeting participation
12. Material/equipment procurement
13. Scheduling
14. AMS internal processes including but not limited to:
15. New job requests
16. Subcontract process
17. Purchase orders
18. Spectrum & Autodesk
19. Billing
20. Close out
21. Warranty
22. Manage post construction mechanical warranty repairs and tracking processes
23. Promote safety, accountability, and operational discipline
24. Attend periodic/routine sales, PM and other meetings
