AMS Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee warranty repairs and service needs for a single large client in the Mission Critical/industrial sector.

Reporting to the Director of Mission Critical Service, the successful candidate will manage projects related to large central utility plants and data processing facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP.
• Experience with large scale central utility plant operations is a significant plus.
• Experience with large scale data processing facilities is a significant plus.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of projects for a single large client, including scheduling, new job requests, subcontract process, purchase orders, and close out.
• Oversee warranty repairs and post-construction maintenance for the client.
• Lead routine client meetings, ensure safety and access compliance, and provide proposals for repairs, maintenance, installation and enhancements.
• Provide required reports directly to the client.
• Promote safety, accountability, and operational discipline.
• Attend periodic PM and other client meetings.

Reporting to the Director | Mission Critical Service, the Project Manager will oversee warranty repairs and other service needs for a single large client. The ideal candidate will have experience with large scall central utility plants and/or large scale data processing facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Management duties specific to a single large client needs including but not limited to:
• Routine daily meetings with client
• Completing, managing and closing out all client internal paperwork processes
• Ensuring compliance with client’s safety and access requirements
• Providing as needed proposals related to repairs, maintenance, installation and enhancements
• Ensuring client requests are followed up
• Act as the escalation point for critical incidents, outages related to client impacting events
• Reviewing field service tickets, third party reports and following up with clients as needed
• Provide required reports, etc. directly to the client
• Directly manage all aspects of awarded maintenance, repairs, installation and enhancement projects including but not limited to:
• Scheduling
• AMS internal processes including but not limited to:
• New job requests
• Subcontract process
• Purchase orders
• Close out
• Warranty
• Manage post construction mechanical warranty repairs and tracking processes
• Promote safety, accountability, and operational discipline
• Attend periodic/routine sales, PM and other meetings
