Job summary

Robinson, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring project goals, schedules, and profitability are met.

The role drives cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Engineering, and Production to uphold timelines and quality. Responsibilities include planning, billing through invoicing, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships and exploring upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, or design preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of five years project management or shop floor supervision experience in metal manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Review scope, RFQs, and POs to understand customer expectations and support estimating.
• Own projects from PO receipt through invoicing, including planning, documentation, and profitability.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, addressing inquiries and providing regular updates.
• Lead project planning meetings and coordinate across departments to ensure alignment.
• Monitor quality and inspection standards per RMI and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Production to resolve issues.
• Conduct post-job reviews and performance evaluations.
• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities through product knowledge.
• Manage risks to minimize financial and production impacts.
• Track and report project progress using appropriate tools.
• Participate in regular team meetings to improve processes and drive business growth.
• Must be able to travel on short notice.
