Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in physics, mechanical engineering, precision engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with development project workflows in a high-tech environment.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams without direct disciplinary authority.
• Experience managing development projects and applying product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Project management for product development or major technology development initiatives.
• Serve as R&D and Technology Coordinator per Q-PEP guidelines.
• Plan projects including work packages, costs and timelines.
• Organize and lead interdisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to development of technical concepts.
• Ensure specifications, costs, schedules, documentation and reporting.
• Represent project team and results to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure assembly/joining technologies and testing equipment are available on time and budget; hand over docs to production.
• Initiate problem-solving measures and task forces for urgent issues.

Your Responsibilities

• Project management for product development or major technology development initiatives
• Serving as R&D and Technology Coordinator in accordance with Q-PEP
• Project planning with regard to work packages, costs, and timelines
• Organizing and leading interdisciplinary teams
• Contributing to the development of technical concepts
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, costs, and schedules; project documentation and reporting
• Representing the project team and its results both internally and to the customer
• Ensuring that the required assembly and joining technologies, as well as testing equipment, are available on time and within budget; handing over documentation to the production process engineer
• Initiating problem-solving measures and task forces in the event of urgent issues in the development project

Your Profile

• Successful completion of a degree program (physics, mechanical engineering, precision engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable field)
• Experience with the workflow of development projects in a high-tech environment
• Management of development projects and application of product development processes
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams without disciplinary authority
