Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex SaaS solution delivery programs, with a strong focus on Veeva platforms (Vault, CRM, Quality, PromoMats, MedComms). The role requires exceptional stakeholder management, executive communication, and insight-rich status reporting, paired with deep understanding of regulated environments (GxP, CSV, 21 CFR Part 11) and enterprise SaaS delivery best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program-Level Leadership: Manage multiple concurrent SaaS projects or large-scale Veeva implementations; drive strategic alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior sponsors, QA/Compliance, and vendor partners; deliver executive-ready status reports (RAG indicators, risks, decisions needed).
  • Delivery Governance: Establish and enforce PMO standards, RAID logs, change control, and governance cadence; lead steering committees and executive updates.
  • SaaS/Veeva Expertise: Lead discovery, configuration, validation/CSV, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare; ensure audit readiness.
  • Risk, Issue, Dependency Management: Maintain proactive RAID posture; escalate early; drive mitigation plans and contingency/rollback strategies for critical milestones.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor project managers and analysts; coordinate cross-functional teams across geographies and vendors; promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Financials & Benefits Realization: Own budgets, forecasts, and variance tracking; partner with business to define acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
  • Quality & Compliance: Align delivery to SDLC/CSV standards; maintain traceability and documentation rigor; coordinate InfoSec/privacy assessments and remediations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in project/program management; 5+ years leading SaaS deliveries with hands-on Veeva implementation experience.
  • Methodologies: Proven ability to operate in Agile/Hybrid and Waterfall governance.
  • Regulatory: Strong working knowledge of GxP, CSV, and 21 CFR Part 11 in life sciences contexts.
  • Tools: Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps/Smartsheet, Teams/SharePoint; familiarity with Veeva Vault tools and common integration/middleware platforms.
Core Skills
  • Executive Communication & Reporting: concise, insight-rich narratives; C-level stakeholder management; meeting facilitation.
  • Strategic Planning & Governance: WBS, critical path, resource leveling; PMO standards and governance committees.
  • SaaS/Veeva Delivery: environment strategy (DEV/QA/PROD), configuration management, data migration, API/middleware integrations, release/cutover orchestration.
  • Risk Management & Escalation: RAID ownership, proactive mitigation, contingency and rollback planning.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: influencing without authority, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management.
Preferred Certifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP (or equivalent Agile certifications).
  • Veeva product certifications (Vault/CRM).
  • ITIL Foundation; SAFe/CSM.
  • Quality outcomes (defect density, validation completeness, audit findings).
  • Adoption and business value (usage, process cycle time improvements, compliance outcomes).
  • Governance health (RAID closure, change control discipline).
  • Publish weekly executive status reports with clear RAG indicators, decisions required, and forward-looking risk posture.
  • Maintain the RAID register and present mitigation plans in governance/steering meetings.
  • Ensure all Veeva configuration and test evidence meets CSV standards and is audit-ready before go-live.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $66,000

Pay Range Maximum: $135,300

Compensation and Benefits: A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
