The role involves full project management for wireless and low-voltage deployments, with some regional travel.

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for enterprise cellular networks in the U.S. We specialize in the design, installation, and support of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Small Cell, and Private 4G/5G Wireless Networks for enterprise clients.
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on License Qualifying Manager/Project Manager with sufficient industry experience and track record in General Contracting to help CTS maintain and grow our list of General Contracting Licenses throughout the continental United Stated, as well as a good working knowledge of structured cabling and low voltage contracting.
The ideal candidate will additionally need to support full project management responsibilities on a regional basis for design/build/integrate/optimize/manage/maintain our full suite of Wireless Distribution Networks. Training in this specific low-voltage portion of our business model will be offered to the fully qualified candidate.
Qualifying candidate will have more than 5+ years of experience in General Contracting, preferably Commercial Contracting, and will have already successfully qualified at least one business entity for General Contracting licensure and operations in any of the lower 48 states using a passing NASCLA test score for the trades portion of the General Contracting examinations. Multiple State qualifying history would be a plus. 4+ years of experience in framing or steel framing is required to qualify.
The candidate is required to be a full-time employee of our organization and would be offered all the benefits commensurate with the position. A minor amount of travel (less than 20%) may be required in order to pursue more licenses as our firm continues to grow in its footprint. Some travel may also be required if the candidate’s region experiences a lull in project demand.
If the candidate has experience in managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously, and can assimilate into the CTS Operations model, the compensation package will be commensurate with both Licensing and General Contracting areas of responsibility.
The candidate will be responsible for all communications to and from respective State Licensing Boards to help keep operations-administration informed of State‑by‑State lien laws and requirements, as well as research into new State Licensing Boards to allow for rapid qualification and licensing if a new license is required by operations. Participation in Continuing Education where required by State‑Licensing‑Boards (i.e. North Carolina and California) will be required.
