Job summary

The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants is seeking a senior role to lead complex learning projects by advancing Agile delivery within the Learning organization. You will align with Learning Product Managers to accelerate time-to-market, improve predictability, and enhance portfolio execution.

You will drive adoption of Agile frameworks, coach cross‑functional teams, and establish governance for hybrid environments to meet regulatory needs while improving throughput

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field (project management, business, accounting, finance, education).
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies with experience conducting retrospectives and driving continuous improvement actions.
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex projects; preference for 3+ years in PM related to commercial learning products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead adoption of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid) in learning product development projects.
  • Partner with Learning Product Managers to implement sprint planning, backlog refinement, velocity tracking, and release planning.
  • Design structured transition plans from waterfall-based execution to Agile product delivery models.
  • Coach teams in Agile ceremonies and artifact management.
  • Establish governance for hybrid waterfall–Agile environments when regulatory constraints require structured gating.
  • Measure collaboration, predictability, and throughput; drive continuous improvement.

About the Role

You will lead complex learning plans while driving modern, agile ways of working across the Learning organization. This role is accountable not only for delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, but also for ensuring the transition from traditional waterfall methodologies to Agile, iterative product-based delivery models. You will partner with Learning Product Managers to increase speed to market, improve predictability, and improve portfolio execution. This role is hybrid remote / in‑office. You will report to the Director – Learning Products as an individual contributor.

You Will
  • Lead adoption of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid models) within learning product development projects.
  • Partner with Learning Product Managers to implement sprint planning, backlog refinement, velocity tracking, and release planning.
  • Design and complete structured transition plans from waterfall-based project execution to Agile product delivery models.
  • Coach teams (design, content, SMEs, production, compliance) in Agile ceremonies and artifact management.
  • Establish governance for hybrid waterfall–Agile environments when regulatory or compliance constraints require structured gating.
  • Measure and promote collaboration, predictability, and throughput.
  • Conduct retrospectives and ensure relevant continuous improvement loops are implemented.
  • Standardize intake, prioritization, and backlog governance in consideration of portfolio strategy.
  • Align Jira (or successor PM system) workflows to the learning product lifecycle.
  • Develop visibility dashboards (velocity, burn‑down, RAG, capacity tracking).
  • Identify systemic delivery bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
You Have
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business, accounting, finance, education, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience conducting retrospectives and implementing continuous improvement actions.
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex projects with preference for 3+ years of experience in project management related to commercial learning products.

Annual Salary Range

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $75,000 - $100,000
