Job summary

Metric Geo seeks a Project Manager for land development in Richmond, VA. You will lead diverse projects, guide site plans, and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a technical mentor to junior staff.

You will collaborate with a seasoned team at a nationally recognized engineering firm, leveraging leadership skills and business development acumen to drive project success.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Licensed P.E. in Virginia or ability to obtain licensure.
• 10+ years civil engineering in land development; 5+ years PM leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage land development projects (multi-family, residential, mixed-use, commercial).
• Oversee preparation of construction plans and site infrastructure specifications.
• Serve as primary client liaison to ensure clear communication and strong relationships.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD designers.

• Lead and manage land development projects, including multi-family, residential, mixed-use and commercial projects
• Oversee the preparation of construction plans and specifications for site infrastructure
• Be a primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and a strong relationship
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD designers

What we're looking for:

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field and registered P.E in VA
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering in land development - residential and commercial
• 5+ years in Project Management or a leadership role
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
• Client relationships within Knoxville area.
