Job summary

Bohler’s Nashville office is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex land development projects from concept to completion. You will balance design quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance while guiding internal teams and coordinating with leadership.

In this leadership role, you’ll mentor junior staff, manage budgets and contracts, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and public meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
• Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
• Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
• Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
• PE license preferred.
