Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager for a growing civil engineering practice in Maryland. The role leads the design and coordination of land development projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors in the Washington DC and Maryland region.

You will manage projects from concept through permitting and construction, mentor engineers, and coordinate with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer licence preferred.
• Experience managing land or site development projects.
• Experience leading civil engineering projects and technical teams.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of stormwater, grading, utilities and erosion-control design.
• Familiarity with Maryland Land Development and entitlement processes.
• Experience in Prince George’s County, Charles County or surrounding jurisdictions.
• Strong written, verbal and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support preliminary plats, rezoning applications and development approvals.

Job description

I am working with a growing multidisciplinary civil engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager within its Maryland operation.

The position will involve leading the design and coordination of residential, commercial and industrial Land Development projects throughout the Washington DC and Maryland region.

Salary: $110,000-$155,000, depending on experience.

Job Specifications:
