Kleinfelder is seeking a Project Manager to join our Land Development team in Austin. You will provide project management and technical support to Land Development projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets.

The candidate will collaborate with clients in Texas, drive proposals, and mentor staff while advancing professional licensure and project management qualifications within the first year of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
• 8+ years of experience in land development or related engineering fields.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and foster and develop key client relationships.
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
• Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Microsoft Office.
• Candidate will be required to complete Kleinfelder’s project management qualifications within one (1) year of hire.

The successful candidate should be a self-starter who can provide project management and technical support to Land Development projects and proposals. The candidate will be responsible for proposing, planning, executing and managing projects of varying complexity with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires strong collaboration skills, project management, and client engagement in support of our Clients in Texas, as well as experience with proposal preparation (scoping and pricing).

Position Requirements
