Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Project Manager to join the Land Development team in Austin, TX. The candidate will lead design and project management across residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal land development projects and collaborate with clients to ensure success.

The role requires a PE license in Texas, 8+ years in land development, strong PM skills, and ability to mentor staff while delivering profitable projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
• 8+ years of experience in land development or related engineering fields.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and foster and develop key client relationships
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
• Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D
• Microsoft Office
• Candidate will be required to complete Kleinfelder’s project management qualifications within one (1) year of hire.

The successful candidate should be a self-starter who can provide project management and technical support to Land Development projects and proposals. The candidate will be responsible for proposing, planning, executing and managing projects of varying complexity with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires strong collaboration skills, project management, and client engagement in support of our Clients in Texas, as well as experience with proposal preparation (scoping and pricing).

Position Requirements
