Job summary

Jobot in Chicago is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Job Order Contracting (JOC) to lead multiple projects from start to finish. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution across fast-paced, small-to-medium sized construction projects while coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

The role requires exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on safety, quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
• 2+ years in JOC or similar delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of JOC projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams for on-time delivery.
• Prepare and review estimates, proposals and change orders.
• Monitor progress, quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Job Order Contracting (JOC) to oversee multiple projects from inception to completion. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage fast-paced, small-to-medium-sized construction projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of JOC projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and review project estimates, proposals, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years in JOC or similar delivery methods.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, estimating, and scheduling software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
