Job description

SummaryDAS Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Product Team in Sterling Heights, MI.

Responsibilities
  1. Use knowledge of vehicle acquisition program(s) to provide services including administration support, project management, and technical development support.
  2. Provide recommendations and technical advice in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, including the DoD 5000 series and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  3. Adhere to quality standards and reviews for project deliverables.
  4. Manage all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, serving as the single point of contact.
  5. Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
  6. Interface with the organization and its customers in all affected areas.
  7. Define project scope and objectives; develop work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  8. Conduct project meetings, track, and analyze progress.
  9. Manage taskers to ensure priority actions are coordinated, staffed, and executed properly.
  10. Analyze data and assess progress of programs and projects.
  11. Provide technical guidance and recommend solutions to leadership.
  12. Organize, manage, and present information, including oral presentations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Master's Degree in a specialized field + 1 year of applicable experience OR Bachelor's Degree + 7 years of applicable experience.
  • Alternatively, Bachelor's Degree in any field + 9 years of specialized experience, or 15 years of scheduler experience with at least 2 years in MDAP ACAT I/II programs.
  • Specialized Degree in Project Management, Business Management / Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in managing complex DoD engineering or technical programs, including military acquisition programs (preferably ground combat vehicle systems).
  • Experience in coordinating with higher-level staff, providing program analysis, developing battle rhythms, and managing calendars.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
