Job summary

Caddell Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager for international assignments. The role involves overseeing complex construction projects across multiple international locations, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, budget, and schedule compliance.

Ideal candidates have extensive construction management experience, a degree in a related field, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, plus 15 years total construction management experience.
  • Four-year degree in building science, construction management, or engineering preferred and minimum 10 years total construction management experience preferred.
  • Current clearance or ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance; U.S. Government Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete the project.
  • Verifies complete estimate for selected project with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, contracting, etc.
  • Supervises total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule; interfaces with client representatives, A/E representatives, other contractors, etc.
  • Plans, coordinates and supervises onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).
  • Provides technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
  • Assumes responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
  • Administers financial tracking systems to monitor project costs and estimate the remaining cost to complete cash flow forecasting and resource planning.
  • Prepares complete plan of execution.
  • Performs additional assignments per construction executive’s direction.
  • Assumes full responsibility for oversight of the project’s safety plan and record.
  • Responsible for coordination of all consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate project progress and profitability.

What You Will Do

  • Working Conditions- Construction setting, travel required, full time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.

Certifications, Licenses, etc.: -(Should be able to submit certifications upon request and obtain a medical clearance before deployment) Current clearance, or the ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required. U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required.
