About the Role

Our client, a major mining operation, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of critical infrastructure projects within their **Upington, Northern Cape** facilities. This role is vital for managing large-scale projects such as facility expansions, new equipment installations, and site infrastructure upgrades, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in heavy industrial or mining sector project management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of engineering and construction principles. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of major infrastructure projects within the mining environment.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Manage project execution, including procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Oversee on-site activities, manage contractors, and coordinate with internal operational teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and potential hazards.
• Manage project finances, track expenditures, and ensure cost control.

Requirements
