Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for Industrial projects, based in Chicago.

The role focuses on coordinating pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities with a strong emphasis on documentation, budgeting, and compliance. The PM will lead project teams, manage subcontractors, and interface with customers to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes. Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction: job set ups, contractual deliverables, budget/quantity development, distribution of drawings/specs, schedule development, SOV development, subcontractor qualifying, safe project plan development, licensing requirements.
• Construction: manpower/union management, equipment tracking, material coordination, job forecasting, subcontractor tracking, quality assurance, change-order tracking, weekly meetings, customer interfacing, production monitoring, billing.
• Post Construction: inspections, punchlist completion, final as-built submissions, final payment, closeouts and payments, lessons learned, inventory audits, project closeout.

We are looking for a talented Project Manager that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for providing management support to project team as guided by the Commercial Manager assisting in administration and organization of various project documents. This position requires an individual with a high level of organization, focus to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
