Job summary

MIRACORP is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex design and construction projects for government facilities from planning through occupancy. You will manage budgets, schedules, and contractor performance while serving as on-site construction manager, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CM/Engineering/Architecture with ten years' experience, plus strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of building systems. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Ten years of experience managing design and construction projects.
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management principles, scheduling, cost estimating, and documentation.

  • Manage multiple construction and renovation projects from concept through closeout.
  • Serve as on-site construction manager, monitoring field activities and safety.
  • Review design documents, submittals, schedules, and cost estimates; coordinate with A/E firms, contractors, contracting staff, and customer agencies.
  • Oversee commissioning, punch lists, and project turnover within budget and performance targets.
  • Prepare scopes of work, government estimates, progress reports, and maintain project records.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communication and project meetings.

The role manages customer expectations, project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance while serving as the on-site construction manager for day-to-day field activities. The incumbent ensures projects meet scope, cost, quality, and schedule requirements and provides technical leadership across building systems and construction disciplines.Essential FunctionsManage multiple construction and renovation projects from concept through closeout, including scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement coordination, and contractor oversight.Serve as the on-site construction manager or inspector, monitoring daily field activities, resolving conflicts, verifying progress, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.Review and approve design documents, construction submittals, schedules, and cost estimates; coordinate with A/E firms, contractors, contracting specialists, and customer agencies.Oversee commissioning, punch list development, and project turnover to ensure timely completion within budget and established performance requirements.Apply advanced knowledge of commercial building systems-including HVAC, chillers, boilers, BAS (Siemens preferred), electrical distribution, fire systems, water treatment, and mechanical systems-to evaluate design and construction quality.Prepare scopes of work, government estimates, project documentation, and progress reports; maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.Coordinate stakeholder communication, facilitate project meetings, and maintain strong customer relationships to support successful project delivery.Travel to project sites for inspections, progress reviews, and technical evaluations as required.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; and/or ten years of experience managing design and construction projects.Master’s degree in a related field preferred.Extensive knowledge of building design, construction methods, and commercial building systems, with the ability to solve complex technical and project challenges.Proficiency in project management principles, construction scheduling, cost estimating, reading construction documents, and writing scopes of work and specifications.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with customers, contracting staff, contractors, financial managers, and other stakeholders.Advanced computer skills and familiarity with project management tools and estimating software.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Why Choose MIRACORP?At MIRACORP, we recognize that our employees are the cornerstone of our success.
