Welcome!The Project Manager (PM) works collaboratively on projects of varying sizes and complexity. Most projects will require working closely with technical resources and business partners. This role will be engaged during the project process from conception to closure and hand-off to operations. The PM will create and foster lasting positive vendor and customer relationships and expected to work with a cross-functional team consisting of team members from multiple organizations. In this role, the PM must keep the team engaged and focused, remove blockers, and maintain the project schedule, scope and budget.A person who will be successful in this role will need to be organized, adaptable, and self-motivated. They must be perceptive and able to discern project and task priority with little direction. This person must be able to lead and keep the team on task. Lastly, the ability to quickly understand our business and apply critical thinking skills to the job responsibilities will be very important to success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Manage and drive projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution toensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timelineManage projects in multiple methodologies, standards and tools utilizing Agile, Scrum,Waterfall, and adaptive methodologies according to individual project guidelinesDefine the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management, businessgroups, internal and external business partners, vendors and customersCreate effective Project Documents including, but not limited to, Project Charter,Business Case, Risk Assessments, Status Report, Schedule, Risk & Issues, resourcedemand, and costing information if applicableDetermine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at itscompletion, including deliverable tracking and benefit realizationExecute the project according to the project plan, milestones, sprints and/or schedule.Organize and facilitate project planning, detailed project task assignments, daily standup meetings if required, reviews, project team meetings, lessons learned, anddeployment planningMonitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successfulcompletion of the projectIdentify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability ofthe team to deliver their assigned tasksResolve project conflict by facilitated discussion to determine mitigation strategiesEstablish a communication schedule to update stakeholders, product owners includingappropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the projectBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers/stakeholders/productowners/sponsorsParticipate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and bestpracticesManage project team to the established policies and practices of the organizationAdditional duties as assigned by PMO ManagerRequired Qualifications:Must have at least 4 years of experience working as a Project Manager in an IT organization,managing projects with technical and business teamsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong support and knowledge of PMO standards and best practicesExperience working across the SDLCDemonstrated ability to complete work to deadlinesBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience• Minimum Experience: 4+ years • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Equal Opportunity Employer.
