Job summary

Heartland Business Systems LLC is seeking a Project Manager II to direct and coordinate projects from initiation through completion, aligning with organizational goals. You will gather requirements, plan activities, and hold team members accountable with minimal oversight.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks, and collaborate with PMO, sales, engineering, and leadership to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a project manager or lead.
• Experience eliciting requirements and managing stakeholders.
• Bachelor degree in Business or Project Management.
• Excellent organizational and multi-priority management.
• Ability to communicate with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept through implementation, defining scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate stakeholders across departments to meet timelines and budget.
• Lead multiple projects and work streams to deliver on time and within scope.
• Develop and maintain project cost baselines, risk registers, and change logs.
• Monitor progress, report status, and escalate issues as needed.
• Promote PMO activities and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensure project documents are current and stored securely.
• Record hours and expenses weekly and balance against resource needs.
