Job summary

K&A Power Group in Berlin, Connecticut is hiring a Project Manager II to coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities on energy projects. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and drive schedule adherence while collaborating with Owners and contractors on siting and permitting efforts.

The role requires a strong engineering/CM background, PMP preferred, and a willingness to travel to offices for meetings. Attractive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management or Construction Management preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 10-15 years' experience including 3+ years managing major engineering/procurement/construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources (Engineering, Outage Planning, Site & Permitting, Stakeholder Engagement, Scheduling, Safety, Cost Analysis, Closeout, Procurement, Contract Administration, Field operations).
• Drive project schedule, manage scope, and control costs.
• Assist with siting requirements, site applications, petitions and related documents.
• Review RFIs, submittals, invoices, change orders and related papers.
• Lead regular cross-functional team meetings and track actions.
• Coordinate change management with Owner and contractors.
• Administer contracts for construction phase and owner-supplied materials.
• Coordinate between vendors and construction contractors.
• Develop and review technical bid documents and cost sheets.
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders and inputs for negotiations.
