Destination Enterprises Inc. is contracted to support Southern California Edison in a Ventura-area, hybrid Project Manager role.

The position requires 5+ years of field project management, with strong skills in Excel, MS Projects, Teams, SAP and Primavera P6. Duties include overseeing projects from initiation through close-out, coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring deliverables on time.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the field.
• Environmental permitting experience is preferred (coastal permits, SWPPP, public lands approvals).
• Utility experience and underground utility experience are advantageous.
• PMI/PM Professional certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide project oversight from scoping and initiation through planning, design, permitting, construction and close-out.
• Lead the project team and stakeholders; manage scope, costs and outcomes across multiple projects.
• Identify problems, propose solutions, and drive objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones and deliverables.
• Apply project controls for budget and schedule management, forecasting, variance analysis and progress tracking.
• Resolve issues and conflicts; maintain priorities and ensure timely task completion.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of PM core concepts and portfolio processes.
• Organize effectively, communicate well, and drive actions to resolve issues promptly.

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience


• Required: Skilled in Excel, Microsoft Projects, Teams, SAP, and Primavera P6


• Required: 5+ years of project management experience with projects in the field


• Preferred: Environmental permitting experience (coastal permits, SWPPP, public lands approvals)


• Preferred: Utility experience, underground utility experience a plus


• Preferred: Project Management Professional certification


• Project Management oversight and function; provides direction for the project team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle including, scoping and project initiation, planning and design, permit and easement acquisition, civil and electrical construction, and project close-out activities


• Project Manager who can ramp up to lead/manage activities for multiple projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes


• Direct involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution. Identifies problems and solutions. Collaborates to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables.


• Utilizes project controls in exercising budget and schedule management, forecasting, performance monitoring such as variance analysis, maintaining schedules and project plans, identifying trends, forecasting costs, and assessing performance against budget targets


• Resolves issues and ensures task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts with team members and functional managers


• Understands and uses PM core concepts; can learn processes and portfolio


• Organized, good communicator, and drives actions to resolve issues immediately
