The work of this class involves defining project goals to determine required project outcomes; analyzing and creating detailed project plans that identify deliverables, timelines, costs, resources and potential risk; regularly communicating with project staff, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders on project activities; monitoring project progress to ensure milestones are met on time; developing and implementing mechanisms to evaluate project successes and areas in need of improvement on an ongoing basis; and recommending and facilitating changes to project processes to ensure desired outcomes and deliverables.
