Job summary

AIM Consulting Services is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER I to oversee design and construction for local bond measures and modernization projects in the Los Angeles area. You will lead 6–8 projects concurrently, coordinating with architects, end-users, and inspectors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a strong PM background, BIM experience, and familiarity with DSA processes; LEED/CHPS knowledge is a plus. A CCM credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience managing multiple design and construction projects.
• BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related field.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Experience with BIM and web-based project management tools like Proliance.
• LEED/CHPS knowledge and DSA processes are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and review PM activities for design and construction projects.
• Manage 6–8 projects simultaneously with values from $2M to $30M each.
• Coordinate with end-users, architects and others to develop phasing and swing space plans.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation plans and maintain risk register.
• Prepare design/construction contract documents and site logistics plans.
• Track budgets, schedules and change orders; report to PMO and stakeholders.
• Close out projects including DSA and financial closeout.
