Job summary

Allied Steel Buildings in Texas is seeking a Project Manager to lead mission-critical infrastructure projects, starting with structural steel and expanding to additional disciplines. You will supervise planning through completion, coordinating engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Travel up to 25% and 5+ years of PM experience in industrial or data center projects are required; a B.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in industrial or data center construction, emphasizing structural steel delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle for steel infrastructure and building scopes.
  • Experience with estimating, bidding, subcontractor management, and hyperscale schedule compression.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer documents, specifications, and drawings to develop end-to-end estimates for structural steel and related disciplines.
  • Oversee the full bid process, manage deadlines, solicit subcontractors, and develop proposals.
  • Lead end-to-end project management for structural steel and additional scopes, planning through closeout.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive project success.
  • Monitor progress against milestones and KPIs, mitigate schedule risks and supply-chain volatility.
  • Manage estimating, document control, scheduling, resource allocation, logistics, and subcontractor performance to protect budget and schedule.
  • Foster strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
