Qualifications

  • 7+ years of consulting and design experience in hydrology and hydraulics.
  • PE license and advanced knowledge in hydraulic analysis required.

Job description

Project Manager - Hydrology and Hydraulics

Join us at Garver as a Project Manager - Hydrology and Hydraulics in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves working with our Transportation Team on engineering projects for federal, state, municipal, and other clients.

Responsibilities include: performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing projects, coordinating subconsultants, scheduling, overseeing plan production, preparing cost estimates, and interacting with clients.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program, with emphasis on water resources engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • At least 7 years of relevant consulting and design experience
  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design
  • Experience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS software
  • Experience with 2D hydraulic modeling (preferred)
  • Experience with GIS applications in H&H modeling
  • Experience with Microstation, InRoads, GEOPAK, OpenRoads, or similar software (a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills
