Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex construction projects in Sugar Hill, GA. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with engineers and architects, and oversee budget, schedule, and quality from preconstruction through project closeout.

You will monitor time, cost, and safety, supervise field staff, and strive for career growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Monitors financial status across projects including subcontractor and vendor status.
• Manages time, cost and quality of construction projects.
• Plans and coordinates all aspects of the construction process with engineers, architects, and vendors.
• Coordinates effective preconstruction meetings with Field Supervision and Preconstruction.
• Supervises assistants and superintendents; enforces safety and reports deficiencies.
• Shows willingness to learn and use project management software tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project, Viewpoint and Raken.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the entire construction process from bidding to closeout.
• Hire subcontractors and collaborate with engineers, architects and vendors.
• Monitor subcontract and vendor status, labor, tools and overhead to control costs.
• Lead preconstruction meetings with Field Supervision and Preconstruction teams.
• Supervise field staff and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be able to monitor and understand the overall financial status throughout the duration of a project including: subcontract status, vendor status, labor/payroll, small tools, construction equipment, forming materials and systems, miscellaneous materials and project overhead.
• Control the time, cost and quality of construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
• Plan and coordinate an effective preconstruction meeting with Field Supervision and Preconstruction.
• Monitor and understand the overall financial status throughout the duration of a project including: subcontract status, vendor status, labor/payroll, small tools, construction equipment, forming materials and systems, miscellaneous materials and project overhead.
• Supervises assistant managers and superintendents, reviews their reports, checks on anyreported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrates a willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project, Viewpoint, and Raken.
