Job summary

Reeves Young, a Georgia-based construction firm, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee project controls from RFI through close-out. You will create, update and maintain tracking across multiple projects, handling changes to task orders, quality controls, safety, and financial performance.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to craft estimates and proposals, read contracts for compliance, and drive timely project closeout while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Project Management experience.
• Understanding of process management and delivery methods.
• Ability to learn and use multiple project software tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain project controls tracking for multiple projects.
• Manage change management processes, pricing, estimates and change orders.
• Coordinate shop drawings and submittals to document construction progress.
• Read contracts and ensure compliance with terms and legal requirements.
• Assist in project closeout activities to ensure timely completion.

What Can You Expect

• Create, update and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of. individual projects or task orders, changes to projects or task orders, RFI, shop drawings and submittal, matters involving quality controls, safety. financial performance, close-out and other aspects of the project(s) or task order(s)
• Manage or support the change management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, writing change orders and other related activities.
• Proactively work with subject matter experts to create, review and process shop drawings and other submittals that are required to document the construction progress.
• Read project contracts, assist in ensuring that all aspects of the project are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements that govern the project and the community in which the project(s) take place.
• Participate in activities that are related to project closeout to ensure timely completion.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must develop an understanding of process management and the ability and agility to perform work that is contracted through a variety of delivery methods.
• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore, Constructware, Procore, MS Project, Viewpoint, and Raken.
• Must have 3-5 years of Project Management experience.
