WW Clyde is seeking a Project Manager to lead renewable energy and heavy civil projects across the Western United States. You will oversee planning, staffing, contracting, and ensuring safety and project performance.

The role requires strong leadership, subcontract management, and the ability to travel. Growth opportunities exist within a long-established, safety-focused company that delivers complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with solar/energy related projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering (or related work experience).
  • Experience dealing with subcontracts and self-perform work.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values.
  • Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional heads and project managers.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
  • Maintain understanding of contract and develop project status reports.
  • Monitor/control construction to ensure schedule and budget compliance; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Represent company in project meetings and assist in strategy discussions.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and maintain client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Job Summary

Manage renewable energy projects throughout the Western United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values.
  • Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional department heads, subordinate project managers, construction managers, etc.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of WWC/Owner contract and develop project contract status reports.
  • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with Client.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience with solar/energy related projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or Engineering (or related work experience)
  • Experience dealing with subcontracts and self-perform work
  • Individual must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Must possess a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities vital; superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential. Significant business skill required.
  • Basic knowledge of construction industry
  • High knowledge of commissioning procedures.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work towards and reach deadlines
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be willing and able to travel.
