Job summary

WW Clyde in Colorado is seeking a Project Manager to lead a large commercial heavy civil project. Provide administrative and technical direction, manage safety, budgets, and schedule, and coordinate with client and design teams on critical earthwork and utility installation.

You will oversee field staffing, drive project objectives, and represent the company in meetings while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant, progressive construction project management experience on public, commercial, and/or residential infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management including documentation, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, dispute resolution, personnel management, and resource (personnel and equipment) scheduling.
  • Individual must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities; superior communication and interpersonal skills essential.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values.
  • Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional department heads, subordinate project managers, construction managers, etc.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities.
  • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Represent the company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the Client.
  • Supervise the work of Project Managers (I and II) when assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
  • Must be able to work on project site all working days.

Job Summary:
