The Project Manager will be part of the PMO team, reporting to the Director of Program Management. The role involves leading client software implementation projects, working closely with Product Management to identify opportunities and develop solutions. The Project Manager is responsible for managing software implementations from initiation to closure, collaborating with clients and internal teams (Business Analysts, Development, QA, Sales, Leadership) in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, skilled at relationship building, and understands the software development lifecycle. This position offers opportunities to impact business processes and company success, requiring motivation and mentoring skills across technical teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage client communications and expectations effectively.
  • Serve as the primary contact during implementation, maintaining trust as a trusted advisor.
  • Define projects, execute tasks, deliver outcomes, coordinate staffing, and report results.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions.
  • Gather complete business requirements as a subject matter expert.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and lead projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to align product vision with customer needs.
  • Present project updates to executive leadership.
  • Ensure documentation reflects client needs accurately for Development and QA.
  • Manage issues, risks, and changes using established processes.
  • Estimate development efforts and plan milestones.
  • Track progress, prioritize bugs, and coordinate team training.
Requirements
  • Deep technical skills including sFTP, APIs, file formats, GUIDs, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of HTML and specialty pharmacy.
  • Proven experience implementing SaaS or enterprise applications.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceuticals or pharmacy services preferred.
  • Consulting experience with external clients.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision, high integrity, and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, Business, or related.
  • 3-5 years managing complex software projects, preferably with Agile.
  • Experience in the specialty pharmacy industry is a plus.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
